You Are Not The Only One describes the thoughts of a disgruntled lover, one frustrated with their partner’s inability to properly satisfy their emotional needs. Told from a first person narrative, the storyteller is begging their other half to display some sense of passion, interest and enthusiasm, or they’ll have to leave for someone who might give them what they’ve wanted all along ... perhaps someone they’re already familiar with.
